Fall Season

Fall ball is where players keep growing, and where new families discover Five Cities without the pressure of a full spring season.

Fall runs on the same philosophy as everything we do: athletes first. With a lighter schedule and a development-first focus, fall is the ideal season to sharpen skills, try new positions, and get a head start on spring. It's open to all skill levels, and for girls who've never played, there's no better time to pick up a glove.

What Players Gain

Fall is built for development, and that's where players make their biggest jumps:

  • Reps at new positions without spring-season pressure
  • Skills carried from spring that stay sharp instead of going rusty
  • Confidence from being one season ahead when spring rosters form
  • New teammates, since fall rosters mix girls across the league
  • Introduction to tournament softball with the seeding tournament and end of season tournament
  • A love of the game that doesn't take half the year off

More than Softball

Fall has two speeds, and both make players better. Every fall player:

  • Spends the five-week regular season development first, getting reps, trying new positions, and growing her game
  • Competes in two fall tournaments where the intensity comes up and players put their growth to the test
  • Gets coached through both, with the same athletes-first philosophy from first practice to last out
  • Has fun, because that's the point in every season we play

Built by the five cities

Fall has its own feel: cooler mornings, smaller crowds, and softball for the love of it. But it's the same league, the same volunteer coaches, and the same neighbors running the show. Some of our families' favorite Five Cities memories come from fall Saturdays.
