Spring Recreational Softball

Spring rec is the heart of Five Cities Girls Softball, where girls learn the game, build confidence, and fall in love with fastpitch.
Open to all skill levels, from first-time players to girls continuing to grow their game, spring rec runs on one philosophy: athletes first. Every girl gets real coaching, real innings, and a real place on her team, and every coaching decision starts with what's best for the player.
What Players Gain
Through practices and games, girls build fundamental softball skills along with the qualities that outlast any season:
- Confidence that comes from being counted on
- Effort as the standard, in practice and in games
- Teamwork and picking each other up
- Resilience through learning new skills
- Sportsmanship in wins and losses
More than Softball
We measure success by whether girls competed, improved, and had fun. That means every player:
- Stays active and gets reps at every practice
- Grows at her own pace, with coaches who meet her at her level
- Has a voice in what she works on
- Builds friendships that carry from the dugout into the neighborhood
Built by the five cities
Our coaches, volunteers, and sponsors come from the same communities our players do. That's why the stands are full, the dugouts are loud, and girls come back season after season. And for players who catch the competitive bug, spring rec is where the path to All-Stars and Screaming Eagles select begins.
